You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from contract through to delivery, working across engineering, procurement, workshop, and site to ensure projects land on time, on budget, and to standard. That means setting priorities, coordinating resources, and driving outcomes across multiple stakeholders. Success in this role comes from being proactive, commercially aware, and able to adapt without losing control of delivery. What you’ll be responsible for: You’ll run projects end-to-end – from contract award through to close‑out – coordinating across engineering, procurement, workshop, and site. A Project Administrator and Project Support Officer sit behind you, so the admin gets handled and your attention stays on delivery. The commercial accountability is genuine: you’re managing contracts, variations, margins, and customer expectations, not just schedules.
- Building and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts to keep delivery on track.
- Managing contracts, including variations, notices, and commercial obligations – identifying and securing approval for scope changes before they become problems.
- Coordinating workshop and site activities across engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitoring project performance across budgets, margins, and timelines – and reporting to management and customers accordingly.
- Maintaining strong, proactive customer relationships through explicit and consistent communication before, during, and after works.
- Driving continuous improvement and building processes that support faster, more efficient delivery. What you’ll bring: ADE Power operates in environments where delivery failure is immediately visible: data centres, power infrastructure, industrial projects where the client cannot absorb downtime. You’ll need experience in comparable settings, the commercial capability to manage contracts and protect margins, and the kind of disposition that builds structure rather than waits for it. Mine site experience is an advantage; a delivery‑first mindset is not negotiable.
- Experience delivering projects in manufacturing, power generation, mining, rail, or heavy industry environments.
- Strong commercial acumen – the ability to manage contracts, budgets, and project margins with confidence.
- Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments with shifting priorities, without losing grip on delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Confidence coordinating across workshop and site environments, with the ability to work autonomously within a matrix structure.
- The ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and build your own structure and processes.
