We strengthen regional and rural economies by supporting job creation, diversification, and infrastructure development, collaborating closely with local communities to address their unique needs. **About the role**: **In this role you will**: Assess and monitor state land dealings, analyse reports, prepare submissions, and make recommendations in accordance with the Land Act 1994. Provide authoritative and timely verbal and written advice on state land administration and dealings to management, staff and clients. Have a working knowledge of the impact of native title on state land and ensure native title assessments and interests are taken into account in processing dealings under the Land Act 1994. Administering the disposal of surplus state land in accordance with the Queensland Government Land Transaction Policy. Undertake research, analysis and interpretation of tenure and native title claim information relating to indigenous negotiations. Use departmental databases and information systems to fulfill work responsibilities, maintain accurate records and produce reports and statistical information. Identify areas for operational improvement and assist in implementing t HR8213049hese improvements through best practice processes. Participate as an effective member of the Land Services team and provide support to other team members and management. Provide staff training and assistance in systems, legislation, policies and procedures relating to dealings under the Land Act 1994. Prepare, and assist in the preparation of, submissions, briefs, advice and other documentation. **What we're looking for**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
