Security Officer -retail (Part-time) - Redcliffe Qld

**About the Role**

We are seeking a professional, well-presented **Security Officer** to join our team, delivering high-quality security services at a **retail shopping centre in Redcliffe, Queensland**. This role is suited to individuals who demonstrate sound judgement, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to professionalism and compliance.

You will represent our brand on-site and play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

**Key Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- A current and valid Security Licence
- Minimum 1+ year experience in shopping centre or similar environment
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Proven experience operating in professional security environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and confidence in report writing
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
- A calm, professional approach to conflict and incident management

**Key Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Providing a visible, qualified security presence
- Patrolling and monitoring assigned premises in line with site procedures
- Responding effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Identifying and managing security risks in a proactive manner
- Completing detailed, accurate incident reports and maintaining logs
- Liaising professionally with clients, management, and emergency services
