Mechanical Engineer – Design, Systems & Industrial Engineering (Australia) Company Overview: Mechanical Engineers are employed across Australia’s major industries including construction, mining, manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, transport, and defence. - Design and develop mechanical systems, machines, and components
- Create technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Analyse systems for performance, safety, and efficiency
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
- Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance work
- Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and project teams
- Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation
- Ensure compliance with Australian safety and engineering standards (WHS, ISO)
- Assist with project planning, costs, and materials (project-based roles)
- Work with clients, contractors, and suppliers What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- CAD skills (SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials
- Understanding of safety and engineering standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
