Job Description We are seeking an experienced Civil Drafter to join our team and contribute to high quality urban development projects across Southeast Queensland. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering commercially successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and high-quality civil engineering design drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project standards and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to interpret project requirements and deliver precise outputs.
- Utilise GIS systems and review As-Constructed data and BYDA information to extract and incorporate relevant details into design documentation.
- Perform digital measurements to support the preparation of Bills of Quantities.
- Compile drawing sets and manage transmittals for efficient and timely distribution of project documentation.
- Communicate professionally with clients and consultants via phone and email, consistently upholding HCE Engineers’ core values of Care, Knowledge, and Communication.
- Apply a sound understanding of civil engineering principles and technical guidelines throughout all drafting activities. What This Role Offers

- Must have a degree in civil engineering
- Must have minimum of 12months experience as civil draft person
