Position Overview For Care is recruiting for multiple Female Disability Support Workers who have experience supporting clients with complex medical needs. This position involves providing active overnight support and occasional respite shifts. Responsibilities
- Physically capable of hoisting and manual handling.
- Build strong rapport and trust with the individuals you support and their stakeholders.
- Provision of personal care and light domestic duties.
- Complete job tasks in accordance with participant plans in a timely manner.
- Write and maintain accurate written records and documentation. Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Disability or similar industry qualifications.
- Experience with PEG feeding.
- Midazolam trained.
- Confident in building rapport with client and stakeholders.
- A solid work ethic, a positive outlook and the ability to remain calm and skilled while under pressure.
- Own reliable transport.
- National Police Check, Yellow Card and Blue Card. Working Hours & Schedule
- Job Types: Part-time, Casual.
- Schedule: 8 hour shift, Morning shift, Shift work. Compensation Pay: $30.00
- $34.00 per hour. Licensing & Certification
- Worker Screening Check (preferred).
