Furniture Delivery Driver - Reservoir

Priceworth is an industry leading company that is located in Reservoir VIC. We operate from Monday to Saturday and we are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced and self-driven Furniture Delivery Driver/Installer to join our growing team. This position might include may include warehouse all-rounding and being an onsite assembler.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our specialised freight local.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Assemble Flat Pack Furniture in the warehouse in an efficient and effective manner, and maintain the workplace cleanness and safety
- Wrapping assembled products in a protective manner
- May be required to unload incoming furniture trucks using material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack).
- May be required to load transactional furniture orders onto trucks and deliver products to the customer.
- Completes furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications to meet customer satisfaction.
- Inspects furniture for proper operability according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- It is required to maintain an efficient two-day turn-around on all furniture repair service calls and completes all required furniture service/repair paperwork (warranty or non-warranty).
- May be required to unload incoming furniture trucks using material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack).
- Daily interaction with customers, division furniture staff, and furniture operations management.
- Maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Delivery to our customer base in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Forklift operation
- Deliveries to route customers based in the Sydney area
- Build effective customer relationships
- Complete daily run sheet
- Unload and set up equipment including heavy lifting

**Eligibility & Skills**:

- Warehouse experience (preferred)
- Forklift license (required)
- Good driving record
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to prioritize jobs
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Be well presented, with a warm and friendly personality and excellent communication skills.
- Be well organised with a great work ethic
- Have sound knowledge of the Melbourne Metro and surrounding suburbs, other states including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
