We are looking for our next Optical Assistant to join our community focused independent Optometry practice in providing exceptional patient care.

The Role

Is suitable for someone who is motivated, has a passion for helping others and is dedicated to providing top quality customer service.

Provide frame styling and lens advice to our patients

Enjoy a diverse role with direct customer contact

General practice activities including bookings, administration duties, frame adjustments and repairs

Desired qualities include:

Retail experience
- optical retail is preferred but not essential.

Communication skills
- written, face-to-face and via phone.

Computer skills.

Problem-solving skills, the ability to learn quickly and adapt to different tasks.

Ability to build rapport with patients.

Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team.

Punctual and reliable with a mature outlook.

We are a tight knit and super friendly practice with a focus on customer service and community engagement. We are located near public transport in the vibey inner north.
