Voltex is looking for an electrician to join the dynamic Voltex Technical Support Specialist team in our Adelaide Head office who brings more than just experience to the table. We want someone who’s not only a whiz with electrical systems but also thrives in a fast-paced environment, where quick thinking and effective communication are key to providing next level technical support to fellow Voltex team members and the electricians we serve.
**What you’ll be doing as a Voltex Technical Support Specialist**:
- Assist with answering customer queries & input via our “Tech inbox” with precision, ensuring every detail is handled and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Assist internal staff with product queries & product training to maintain the high level of customer support Voltex is known for.
- Use your solid IT skills to navigate and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Competent typing skills and great problem-solving are a must.
- Communicate with customers in a way that’s both empathetic and confident. Your goal is to turn their frustration into satisfaction while being an approachable, knowledgeable expert they can trust.
- Stay cool under pressure, adapt quickly to new challenges, and prioritise tasks effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Experience: At least 5 years as a licensed electrician in Australia or New Zealand, with a broad range of experience across multiple disciplines.
- Organizational Skills: You’re structured and detail-oriented, keeping everything in check, from the tech inbox to client briefs.
- IT Skills: You’re comfortable with technology; able to research and problem-solve quickly and ensure customer questions are fed back to the product development team for future design iterations.
- Communication: You’ve got excellent communication skills—empathetic, down-to earth, and confident. You know how to build trust and resolve issues in a friendly, effective manner.
- Coolness: You handle pressure with grace and can pivot quickly when priorities shift.
- Team Spirit: Your selfless attitude and genuine desire to help others shine through. You get a kick out of solving problems and turning a customer’s day around.
