Software Developer Homebush

We’re looking for a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications aligned with business and technical requirements.

Objectives of this role Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Mac OS X, Windows, and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace

Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code Analyse system requirements and translate them into technical solutions Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance Contribute to system design, improvements, and technology decisions Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployments Maintain technical documentation and code standards Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement Apply secure coding practices and manage risks across the development lifecycle

Required skills and qualifications Experience in software development (e.g. Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Understanding of software design, testing, and deployment practices Familiarity with CI/CD and up-to-date development tools Knowledge of security and performance optimisation principles

Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science Project management experience ( preferred) Skilled certification desirable (or willing to obtain)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
