Technical Delivery Manager (Rhodes)

**What success looks like in this role**:

- Interfaces with Information Technology (IT), Engineering / Product Development and other technical counterparts, RAMS/Westpac and third-parties to ensure an integrated approach to technology delivery in UMP.
- Interprets and analyzes multiple streams of work packages, providing advice and consultation to the team leaders and management to ensure robust and timely delivery.
- Designs and develops new systems, processes and practices to ensure the effectively delivery of multiple concurrent streams of work whilst managing scope, resources and budget within capacity.
- Codes, scripts and uses various tools and methodologies to support automation of project tasks/tracking.
- Acts as a conduit for resource allocations and tracking across the PMO and IT Operations teams, ensuring shared resource pools are adequately allocated and BAU operations are not compromised by resourcing constraints through project over allocations.
- Drive contemporary delivery practices leveraging best practice agile frameworks that are customised to be fit-for-purpose to the delivery model internally and with the client.
- Helps establish tactical workstreams for engineers / technical professionals to execute the components of both BAU and larger projects.
- Contributes to the definition of engineering standards and technologies / frameworks and leads associated working groups.
- Communicates complex technology and related procedural information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Provides complex analysis of potential delivery and operational risks and recommends innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Accurately and comprehensively documents roadmaps and work streams to provide an accurate view of current and future resource, budget and delivery requirements.
- Able to coach and support the team leaders across UMP to deliver successful execution of client-facing company projects and services
- Able to engage both at an executive level and with the client to provide insight and understanding into project and BAU delivery streams.
- Supports leadership in financial oversight and budget management, controlling costs and maximizing delivery profitability.

**You will be successful in this role if you have**: BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Master’s degree preferred

Agile certification required

8 years of agile delivery experience within a technical function
