Head Barista (North Strathfield)

Bar Biscotti is a vibrant, well established cafe in the heart of North Strathfield and one of the first projects of the Bearded Bakers. We are currently looking for a Head Barista who is passionate and thriving to join our high energy team.

**Who are we looking for?** You’re someone who lives and breathes coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to lead a team with heart and precision. You’re not just about the pour
- you care about quality, consistency, and creating a space where people feel welcome. With a highly regarded specialty coffee program, your passion and care for coffee is vital to flourish in this role!

**You’ll be a outstanding fit if you have**:

- 4-5+ years of barista experience in specialty coffee
- Can handle 10+ Kgs a day
- A genuine love for coffee and hospitality
- A hands-on leadership style
- proactive, positive, and solution-focused
- An eye for detail and a high standard for quality and presentation
- Experience with espresso and filter brew methods, dial-ins, and equipment upkeep
- Confidence in leading a team, training others, and managing day-to-day workflows
- Strong communication and feedback skills
- A willingness to champion our values and contribute to events, collaborations, and community moments

**Your day-to-day will include**:

- Serving exceptional coffee, every time
- Leading the team and building a positive, high-performing culture
- Training and mentoring baristas, sharing knowledge and lifting standards
- Staying across our coffee menu and helping the team stay informed and inspired
- Managing equipment maintenance and cleanliness
- Supporting smooth café operations
- from open to close

Pay: $30.00
- $40.00 per hour
