About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to lead residential metal roofing projects on-site, taking ownership of daily operations, crew performance, safety, quality and workflow from start to finish. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising metal roofing crews on-site
- Managing daily site operations, sequencing and workflow
- Ensuring safety, quality and project deadlines are consistently achieved
- Solving site issues quickly to keep projects running smoothly
- Communicating clearly with clients, team members and management
- Setting the standard for workmanship, productivity and team performance
- Supporting the successful delivery of premium residential roofing projects This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced metal roofer, Leading Hand or Supervisor who takes pride in high-quality work and enjoys keeping crews organised, motivated and productive. About You The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in residential metal roofing
- Leadership, Leading Hand or Supervisor experience, or the confidence to step into a leadership role
- White Card and current driver’s licence
- Solid knowledge of roofing systems, flashings and installations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Working at Heights or high-risk tickets will be highly regarded. What's in it for You?
