**About the Role**: We’re looking for a hardworking, **experienced** **Farm Hand** to help maintain a 40-acre equestrian property. This is a hands-on, live-in role where you’ll be responsible for daily farm upkeep, animal welfare support, and general property maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- **Machinery Operation**: Operate tractors, ride-on mowers, slashers, and manure spreaders (**experience required**).
- **Basic maintenance of tractors and farm machinery** (oil changes, greasing, troubleshooting).
- **Pasture & Land Management**: Mowing, weed control, rotational grazing.
- **Fencing & Repairs**:Fixing/maintaining horse paddocks, gates, water systems.
- **Daily Checks**: Water troughs, fence lines, stable conditions.
- **General Farm Work**:Feeding livestock, basic repairs, storM/Fire prep.

**About You**:

- Experience on rural properties (**non-negotiable**).
- **Proficiency with tractors and farm machinery** (e.g., slashers, spreaders).
- **Basic machinery maintenance knowledge (a solid plus)**.
- **Reliable & Early Riser**: Farm life starts at sunrise—no shortcuts.
- **Self-Starter**: Happy working solo (70% of the time) and spotting jobs that need doing.
- **Fit & Active**:Can lift 25kg+, walk long distances, and work in all weather.
- **Hands-On Skills**: Experience with fencing, machinery, or farm work (training okay).
- **Animal-Friendly**: Comfortable around horses (experience a plus but not essential).

**Pay & Conditions**:

- **Salary**:$55,000-$60,000/year + free on-site accommodation (valued at ~$15,000-$20,000) + superannuation
- **Hourly Rate**: $26-$28/hour
- **Fair Overtime Pay**:Occasional overtime (e.g., emergencies, peak seasons)
