Factory Manager (South Windsor)

About the role As the Factory Manager at Snowflake Blast and Powder Coat, you will be responsible for the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing facility in South Windsor, NSW. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth running of our powder coating and sandblasting operations, with a focus on meeting production lead-times, improving processes, and driving the staff for continuous improvement. What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the factory, including keeping to a schedule, monitoring workflow, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Analyze operations and identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed and that the workplace is compliant with relevant regulations.
- Lead and motivate a team, providing coaching and support as needed.
- Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to ensure the consistent high quality of our products.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to support the growth and success of the business. What we're looking for
- Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar factory management or production supervisory role, preferably within the manufacturing and surface finishing.
- Solid leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, build and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, including powder coating and sandblasting techniques.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance in the workplace.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with team members and customers. What we offer
