Trades Assistant (Windsor)

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to join our South Windsor manufacturing team. About the Role This is a hands-on manufacturing and production support role assisting with the assembly and preparation of high-security products including:
• Steel Posts
• Gates
• Locking Assemblies
• Custom Security Components Working within our production team, you’ll assist across a variety of manufacturing and warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the assembly and preparation of steel components and security products
• Support tradespeople and production staff with day-to-day manufacturing tasks
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with machine operation and material handling
• Load, unload, move, and prepare materials for production
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace
• Assist with general factory and warehouse duties as required
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, factory, or trades assistant role preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work well within a team workplace
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Desirable
• Forklift Licence
• Experience using hand and power tools
