We are now looking for a strong Sous Chef / 2IC to Head Chef to join our growing kitchen team. About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role working directly alongside the Indian Cuisine Head Chef to support daily kitchen operations across prep, service, team coordination, quality control, and kitchen organisation. You will play a key role in helping deliver high-quality Indian cuisine while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, speed, and a positive kitchen culture. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, calm under pressure, organised, and ready to step into leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

- Support the Head Chef in running day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead kitchen service confidently when the Head Chef is off-site
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes to a high standard
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency during service
- Support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance at all times
- Work collaboratively with FOH and management teams
- Assist with menu improvements, specials, and operational efficiency What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong CDP in Indian cuisine
- Strong understanding of Indian flavours, curries, tandoor, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Leadership mindset with a team-first attitude
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
