About Karuna For more than 30 years, Karuna has provided specialist in‑home and community‑based palliative care across Brisbane, supporting people with life‑limiting illness to live with comfort, dignity and peace. Position Summary We are seeking a palliative medicine physician/specialist doctor to join our community service three days per week. You will work alongside our current Palliative Care Specialist as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering thoughtful, relationship‑based care. Why Doctors Choose Karuna

- Values‑driven organisation focused on compassionate care The role You will provide specialist palliative medicine support to patients receiving care through Karuna’s community service, which supports approximately 500 patients annually. The role includes telehealth consultations, case reviews and occasional home visits for complex cases. You will collaborate with GPs, specialists and the Karuna clinical team to guide care planning and symptom management, contribute to multidisciplinary reviews, and support advance care planning. About you
- Registered medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Experience caring for patients with life‑limiting illness
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
