Logistics Despatch Officer Richmond

The Role:

As a Despatch Officer, you will be a key member of our close-knit logistics team, playing a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their deliveries in full and on time.

This is an entry-level position based at our Richmond Head Office, working within a small-scale and hands-on warehouse setting. You will be supported with in office training and development to ensure you are fully equipped to meet the requirements of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack and despatch watches, spare parts, repair watches and marketing material for all Swatch Group brands

Prepare shipping documentation for carriers such as Toll Priority, Star Track Express, Fed Ex and DHL

Prepare customs documentation for overseas shipments

Assist Logistics Manager in ensuring all supplies related to despatching are in stock

Follow up all delayed and missing despatch items in transit

Participate in stock takes and general warehouse functions as required

Receive courier deliveries and weekly consignments of watches, spare parts and POS material

Ensure items are packed and despatched with accuracy within given time frames and service parameters

Skills & Experience:

Basic
- intermediate computer skills

Some pick and packing experience desirable

Exposure to domestic and international courier’s desirable

Team player

Organisational skills

Versatile and able to cope within a high-volume setting
