Technology Teacher (Computing and Engineering / Design & Technology Starting Term 3, 2026, Full Time (Part-Time also possible for the right applicant) The College is currently seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Technology Teacher to support our students as we grow young people of faith, character, and purpose. - Deliver engaging and practical Technology programs that develop students’ creativity, problem‑solving, and technical skills across relevant NESA stages.
- Plan, implement, and assess curriculum‑aligned learning experiences, integrating design thinking, contemporary technologies, and safe workshop practices.
- Create a positive, well‑managed learning environment that supports student wellbeing, collaboration, and hands‑on learning.
- Mentor and guide students to help them better understand their purpose About you: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:
- Ability to teach Technology courses from Stage 4 to HSC level, particularly expertise in Stage 4 digital technologies, with a willingness to experiment with integration of materials and engineering technology.
- Ability to teach Stage 5 Computing Technology and/or Stage 6 Software Engineering and/or Enterprise Computing an advantage.
- be committed to quality teaching and learning experiences for students that reflect innovative 21st century learning, with an interest in IT integration and project-based learning;
- have demonstrated success in achieving Band 6 results in one or more Stage 6 courses (preferred but not essential);
- be a highly committed professional with a desire make a difference in the lives of students;
- be an effective classroom practitioner and clear communicator;
- be committed to academic excellence with high expectations of students;
- possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- collaborate with colleagues in developing integrated learning experiences for junior students;
- be committed to their own skilled learning and growth;
- be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith;
- have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents; and,
- be willing to actively contribute to the co-curricular life of the College. We offer:
