Warehouse Supervisor (Marsden Park)

Freshmax are global produce distributors and packers with specialist expertise in the import and export of fresh fruit and vegetables. We have an exciting prospect for the right candidate to join our team at Marsden Park, NSW as a Warehouse Supervisor. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated candidate with a great “Can Do" attitude and willingness to learn and grow. Your main duties will include but not limited to:
- Achieving target KPI’s for productivity
- Use of RF scanning system
- Daily and forward pack planning
- Communicate relevant and accurate information to management
- Manage and allocate labour
- Ensure clean and organized warehouse
- Ensure work practices comply with all company / legislative policies and procedures.
- Escalate any staffing issues to the Warehouse Manager
- Emphasis on developing labour cost reduction and maximizing efficiency with minimal errors.
- Monitor record keeping tracking for work plan, start-times, dismissal times and additional daily activities. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Punctuality, diligence, attention to detail, Flexible, proactive, helpful attitude towards all employees and participating as part of the team
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and to meet multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Work with management to plan and implement work schedules. and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Display a skilled and polite manner in representing the organization
- Able to keep information confidential
- Proactive attitude and ability to utilize your initiative
- Display a professional and courteous manner in all business and customer service requirements
- Proactive approach to Occupation Health and Safety (OHS) and Food Safety in the warehouse
- Proficient in computer Skills- MS Suite (Microsoft excel and word) Available shifts (flexible) Tuesday to Saturday
- 8:30am till 4:30pm Sunday to Thursday
