**Contract Officer, Corrective Services NSW**
**Location -** Berkshire Park NSW, travel to Parramatta & Windsor
**Employment Type -**2x Temporary full-time position up to 12 months
**Salary -**Grade 7/8- $113,574
- $125,720, plus superannuation and leave loading
**What you’ll do**
- The Procurement Contract Officer coordinates the contract and supplier performance reporting that ensures compliance with contractual obligations and performance measures, contributing to the achievement of improved commercial outcomes, the realisation of Procurement benefits and savings in accordance with Departmental and state Procurement policies and procedures.
- This role will also monitor the performance of contracted suppliers of goods and services, support business units and liaise with suppliers to ensure requirements are met. Assist business units with purchase order management and procure-to-pay issues, support the Senior Procurement Officer to establish methodologies and processes, as well as participate in other procurement initiatives and projects to meet business needs.
- To be successful in the Procurement Contract Officer role, you will need to:
- Be able to balance competing demands while providing quality services in a pressured / high volume and sensitive work environment
- Work with limited resources to meet competing customer needs and expectations
- Prioritise issues and items and work within tight timeframes and quality standards.
- Identify and leverage procurement opportunities in a diverse organisation.
- Have Qualification in Procurement (desirable)
- Have Knowledge of procurement environment within the NSW Government (desirable)
**Essential requirements**
- Knowledge of NSW Procurement Framework, procurement governance and procurement policies.
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive as required by the role
- It is an essential requirement of the role that successful applicants are fully vaccinated and able to provide acceptable proof of vaccination status
