Accommodation Assistant (Vineyard)

**Description**: About Us The Gateway Motel, located at The Vineyard, offers modern accommodation options across three buildings. About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Accommodation Assistant to support the smooth operation of The Gateway Motel. In this role, you will assist with room preparations, guest services, and administrative tasks, ensuring that our guests experience the highest standards of hospitality and comfort. This position requires availability from Friday to Sunday and 1-2 afternoons during the week, totaling 20-25 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of reception areas
- Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, with a great phone manner
- Help manage linen supplies and restock guest amenities
- Ensure common areas are clean and welcoming
- Work collaboratively with the team and adapt to changing needs

About You **We’re looking for someone who**:

- Has at least 1yr experience in accommodation
- Has a friendly, guest-focused approach and great phone manner
- Is detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards
- Is adaptable, with a strong work ethic and team spirit
- Has knowledge of Guest Point (preferred, but not required)
- Can manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic workplace
- Is available for the specified hours (Friday-Sunday and some afternoons during the week)
