Role Overview As a NAPLAN/OC/Selective Preparation Teacher, you will help primary school students build solid skills in English, Mathematics, and reasoning. You will deliver engaging lessons, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for critical exams using tailored teaching strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Teach small groups of students focused on NAPLAN, OC, and Selective School preparation.
- Provide timely feedback on students’ work to develop their SMART Skills:
- S: Skills
- M: Mathematical reasoning
- A: Authoring and writing
- R: Reading comprehension
- T: Thinking skills
- Update weekly feedback on the parent dashboard, clearly communicating progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment while ensuring students achieve their learning objectives. Requirements
- ATAR of 90+ or current/former primary school teacher with a strong academic background.
- Experience teaching or tutoring primary school students, particularly for NAPLAN, OC, or Selective exams, is highly desirable.
- Strong command of English and Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
