Accounting practice bookkeeper (Sheldon)

We are a small accounting practice (5 staff) in the Redlands looking for a person for bookkeeping/accounting/tax and office duties. The role will include
- client bookkeeping/accounting/payroll/secretarial and preparation of income tax returns and BAS, as part of a team;
- office admin as needed – this is a small office and all staff cover all matters; You will have
- experience with Xero, Reckon and/or other accounting software;
- experience with MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- familiarity with tax for small business;
- sound computer literacy (navigating internet for dealing with ATO, ASIC and other parties; ability to move around MS file explorer);
- own transport;
- availability to work 5 days a week, at least 4 hours per day, within the core hours of 8am to 5pm;
- an understanding of client ethics and confidentiality. It will be useful for you to have prior experience in an accounting office. A minimum of 3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience is required for this position. On offer
