Bar Team Leader (Rockhampton Regional)

- 4 x Positions Available About the Role Bar Team Leaders are responsible for the setup, operation, and pack down of their designated public bar area at Browne Park Stadium. You will lead a team of bar staff, ensure full RSA compliance throughout service, manage stock and cash, and deliver an efficient and enjoyable bar experience for every patron. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Confirming all bar staff hold a valid RSA certificate prior to service commencing
- Testing POS and EFTPOS systems and allocating cash floats before gates open
- Conducting a pre-event briefing covering RSA obligations, service standards, and escalation procedures
- Enforcing responsible service of alcohol and actively monitoring patron intoxication levels
- Managing queue flow, stock replenishment, and service efficiency during the event
- Recording all incidents and refusals of service accurately
- Coordinating with security when required to manage patron behaviour
- Overseeing cash reconciliation and bar pack down at the conclusion of service
- Ensuring all staff timesheets are completed and signed off before close What We’re Looking For
- Current RSA certificate (mandatory)
- Experience in bar operations, ideally in a supervisory capacity
- Solid cash handling skills and POS experience
