- Trailer Mechanics (Perth and Rockhampton based). Location: Perth Airport and Rockhampton. About the Role We are seeking expressions of interest for Trailer Mechanics to join our agile teams in Perth and Rockhampton. As a vital member of our maintenance crew, you will work on a variety of fleet vehicles to repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with precision. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and defects.
- Perform a variety of mechanical repairs, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
- Carry out routine maintenance and service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and components.
- Weld and fabricate as needed for trailer repair and modification.
- Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles and trailers meet all relevant regulations. Skills and Experience
- Australian recognised Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification.
- Experience as a Trailer Mechanic or a similar role.
- Unlimited Australian work rights (no restrictions).
- Passionate about all things mechanical with an ability to think critically and creatively to help diagnose complex mechanical problems efficiently.
- Meticulous approach ensuring every aspect of the machinery is thoroughly assessed.
- Strong commitment to safety practices.
