Senior Mechanical Engineer
The Opportunity: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will have the prospect to lead a wide variety of challenging projects across Defence, building and infrastructure in NSW, VIC, SA and WA. You will work with our buildings and infrastructure teams on significant building projects to support Commercial, Defence infrastructure, transport and water infrastructure. You will be involved in HVAC design and project leading.
Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Perform work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, non-conventional HVAC design and complex coordination requirements. Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Work with a diverse group of talented people who are committed to supporting our clients through long-term partnership arrangements. Explore recent ways to integrate virtual reality and artificial intelligence on projects.
Qualifications Design experience with knowledge of local industry standards and local codes. Proven ability to work in engineering teams and manage projects to scope, budget and program. Advanced skills with Revit and CAMEL preferred. Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or eligibility to apply for accreditation. Accredited Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline. Australian citizenship required due to Defence project involvement.
