Dietitian (Rockingham)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The position of Dietitian is responsible for providing South Coastal Health & Community Services and South Coastal Babbingur Mia clients with education and advice to improve their overall physical, mental health and wellness
- The role will encompass the delivery of health promotion and nutrition services through both individual and group interventions

**SELECTION CRITERIA**

**ESSENTIAL**:

- Demonstrated ability to provide individual nutrition management of clients
- Group and facilitation skills
- Sound knowledge of the laws and ethical standards relevant to this area of practice
- Ability to deliver services in a trauma informed manner
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Dietetics or Nutrition
- Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
- Membership of Governing Body (Dietitians Australia)
- Current Police Clearance (Less than 3 Months)
- Current Working with Children

**DESIRABLE**:

- 2 years’ post graduate experience in a similar position
- Understanding of aboriginal culture and challenges providing health services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Working with people experiencing mental health challenges

**Job Type**: Part time

Pay: From $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
