A great prospect has arisen for an Experienced mature-minded Dental Assistant to join our close -knit team!

At the start you will be working on Tuesdays at Port Kennedy Practice and covering dental assistant as needed on both locations.

**The successful superstar will have the following essential criteria**:

- Embodies our workplace culture of professionalism & compassion
- Have a high standard of personal presentation and well spoken
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Focused on providing professional, outstanding customer service and patient management
- Preferred 2 years’ experience with a Cert III or Cert IV in Dental Assisting
- Be highly proficient in D4W, Hicaps, and Microsoft office
- Working alongside an experienced Periodontist
- A great attitude towards teamwork, as well as being able to work independently.
- Open to a dynamic working environment and able to show initiative and think on their feet
- Self-motivated and able to multitask, with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Punctual, reliable, dependable, honest, with a solid work ethic

**The heart of the role**:

- Being responsible for assisting the Periodontist
- Follow a strict infection control and sterilization protocol in place
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquires,
- Maintaining a smooth and productive flowing day
