Trainer & Assessor – Carpentry & Building (Rocklea)

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our growing team at our Salisbury campus. About the Role We are seeking a qualified Trainer & Assessor to deliver and assess the following qualifications to CRICOS international students:
- CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry
- CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) The successful applicant will support students in achieving their learning outcomes while ensuring compliance with ASQA, CRICOS, and SITS College requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging face-to-face training and assessment.
- Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements.
- Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support.
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs, CRICOS requirements, and internal policies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for international students. Essential Requirements
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent current credential).
- Relevant vocational qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Demonstrated current industry experience in carpentry, building, and construction.
- Ability to deliver and assess CPC30220 and/or CPC50220 qualifications.
- Current industry currency and vocational competency in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with culturally diverse student cohorts.
- White Card.
- Current driver's licence. Desirable
- Previous experience delivering training to CRICOS/international students.
- Experience working within an RTO environment.
- Knowledge of ASQA compliance, validation, and assessment practices.
