Your Role as a Chef – Dining Services In this position you will provide a high quality and efficient service and will be required to assist with the production of high-quality meals which meet the requirements of the residents and visitors. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing of large quantities of high-quality food that meets the resident’s nutritional needs and meal preferences.
- Maintaining hygiene and presentation.
- Menu and Service planning.
- Preparing temperature-controlled food.
- Undertaking of storage and stock rotation of food.
- Contributing to the maintenance of safe working conditions for all conditions which includes reporting any hazards or risks. What We Offer

- A completed Certificate III Commercial Cookery
- Certified Eden Associate or willingness to attain accreditation.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking in a large-scale commercial environment, preferably in an aged care environment.
- Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of hygienic equipment and work areas
- Strong time management and organisational skills. Essential Requirements

- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
