Fresh Produce Production Manager (Rocklea)

Fresh Production Manager.

We are a Vegetable packer in the Rocklea Markets Brisbane. We prepack zucchini’s, cucumbers, capsicums for supermarkets. We are looking for Hands on Production manager to handle all day to day running and operations. We have a small team of 20 packing 5 ½ days a week Monday to Friday with a 4-hour shift Saturday morning.

The person we are looking for must have experience in managing staff and staff rosters, production scheduling, and machine management and maintenance. Our company focus is on customer service and care for our staff. The person we are seeking must bring an attitude of “can do” with them. The ability to set and meet targets is a must.

APPLICANT MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

- Good attention to detail
- Must be able to lead a team and produce the required results
- Must have Experience in a manufacturing environment, fruit and veg experience will be highly regarded.
- High level of attention to detail, valuable at fault finding/trouble shooting skills..
- Strong focus on quality and hygiene..
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles
- Desirable
- Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills..
- Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks
- Strong focus towards health and safety
- Experience performing labour intensive and repetitive tasks

This role also involves manual handling that includes some heavy lifting and the use of a pallet jack.

MUST BE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN AUSTRALIA!! MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT!!

**Salary**: $80,000.00
- $95,000.00 per year
