- Ensure project construction activities within the electrical scope are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
- Manage electrical and instrumentation engineering/technical queries on site.
- Liaise with Internal and Client E&I; leadership to resolve technical challenges on site.
- Assist with MTOs and procurement tasks for E&I; goods and services.
- Prepare work packs, method statements and other construction‑related information in a timely manner to support the work schedule.
- Investigate and resolve engineering technical problems and provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents and contractors.
- Understand and implement quality control techniques.
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
- Maintain company standards for quality assurance purposes.
- Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested.
- Provide flexible 2:1 FIFO or 5:2 local arrangements to suit the candidate’s lifestyle. About You
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
- Previous project experience on major construction projects within the mining and resources sector.
- Proficient knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise technical reports and documents.
- Experience working within a multi‑discipline project team and a focus on building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders.
- Previous experience working on construction sites as an electrical engineer.
- Experience on CSBP, Fortescue, Rio Tinto, BHP and RoyHill sites is highly regarded.
