- Genuine long-term career opportunity About the Role We’re looking for a hands‑on Export Packhouse Manager to lead our packhouse operations and team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring orders are processed efficiently, maintaining high quality standards, and keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support the packhouse team
- Manage the packing and dispatch orders
- Operate and adjust onion grading/packing lines
- Oversee a team of forklift operators, helping when required (loading/unloading product)
- Oversee plant and forklift maintenance
- Manage record keeping and compliance requirements
- Prepared to work flexible hours during peak periods What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership or team supervision experience (advantageous)
- Experience with production lines or packhouse operations
- Forklift experience (F endorsement preferred)
- Understanding of farming practises and growing cycles
- Competent with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
