Internal Sales Coordinator | Eastern Creek PremiAir is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards and traffic management systems as well as providing on-site refuelling services. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team in the Eastern Creek head office. We are looking for a motivated and appropriately experienced Internal Sales Coordinator who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities/Duties
- Work together with and provide support for the BDM’s
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for customers in the absence of the BDM’s
- Ensure the smooth running of the hire sales process (integrating with the operations function of our business)
- Create new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate BDM for further dialogue and closure
- Prepare and complete tender submissions
- Assist achievement of monthly targets
- Research customer accounts, identify key players/decision makers and generate interest
- Engage in cold-calling of potential new clients and maintain contact with current customers
- Maintain and expand our database of prospects within the assigned territories
- Assist in widening brand recognition in the marketplace through the use of the social media and the other means of creating company/product awareness The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be structured in their approach to work
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Experience in the hire industry is preferred
- Applicants must have demonstrated experience preparing and completing tender submissions
- Experience with data entry
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook suite
- Experience working with tender platforms
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Punctual and reliable
- Customer focused with excellent phone, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong listening, phone and presentation skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
