Role Responsibilities
Provide and assist our clients with work tasks such as pick packing and labelling in warehouse setting.
Keep the clients motivated to complete the tasks required of their role.
Deliver quality support to our clients with tasks such as meal preparation, assisting with their care needs and achieving their goals.
Support ratio varies from 1:1 up to 1:6 ratios.
Build genuine person-centred relationships with our valued clients and keeping their best interest at heart
Guide our clients to ensure safety procedures and compliance are met at all times
About you
We are looking for experienced support workers who are focused on supporting people with disabilities to support them in leading their best life within a warehouse environment. You will be supporting clients as well as satisfying commercial customer requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similar
A current First Aid & CPR Certificate
WWCC (Working with children check) and NDISWC (or willing to obtain)
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Hold Australian work rights
Willingness to complete National and International Police Check (paid by Afford)
Able to complete Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (paid for by Afford)
Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations*
