Food Production & Sanitation Supervisor (Part-Time) (Rooty Hill)

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly organised and hands‑on Food Production & Sanitation Supervisor to lead our cleaning and hygiene operations within a large‑scale food production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all production areas, machinery, and surrounding environments meet strict food safety and hygiene standards. You will supervise a dedicated sanitation team during production downtime and play a key role in maintaining compliance and food safety excellence. This is a permanent part‑time role working:
- Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
- Additional shifts may be available at another site for the right candidate. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate daily sanitation and cleaning activities
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard
- Maintain 100% compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP, and WHS requirements
- Manage the safe handling, titration, and storage of industrial cleaning chemicals
- Act as the liaison between Quality Assurance (QA) and the production floor to resolve hygiene issues promptly
- Complete electronic QA and compliance reporting
- Train and mentor team members on SOPs, hygiene standards, chemical safety, and toolbox talks WHAT WE NEED:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising cleaning or sanitation teams (food production or high‑hygiene environments preferred)
- An uncompromising approach to cleanliness – Nothing is overlooked to prevent cross contamination
- Must have strong knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP), and health and safety practices preferred.
