Forklift Driver/warehouse Operative (Eastern Creek)

**Job Overview**: As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting the loading and unloading of trucks and other materials. Your tasks will include receiving, organizing, and moving goods, with a focus on safety and efficiency. By following company guidelines and best practices, you will contribute to the smooth running of the facility and ensure BeCool Couriers maintains operational standards.

**Responsibilities**: You will be responsible for **Loading and Unloading Trucks**, operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load and unload trucks. You’ll ensure that items are securely placed in their designated locations, minimizing any potential for damage during transportation. Attention to detail is essential in coordinating and moving materials across the warehouse. As part of **Time Management**, you will prioritize tasks, move items on time, and ensure that productivity standards are maintained. Additionally, you’ll scan, locate, and organize stock, providing assistance in tracking shipments and inventory levels.

**Precision and Safety** are central to this role, and you’ll be expected to adhere to strict guidelines to guarantee the smooth and safe operation of the warehouse. You’ll take part in **Mechanical Maintenance**, ensuring equipment reliability and coordinating with the fleet team for vehicle servicing. In **Inventory Management**, you will ensure accurate stock records, assisting in regular audits to confirm data consistency and update stock records accordingly.

Another critical responsibility will be **Safety and Compliance**. You will adhere to all safety regulations and promote secure working practices, ensuring the forklift is maintained according to operational standards and occupational safety guidelines. You’ll also manage **Correctly Storing Pallets/Products**, following specific storage guidelines and identifying any areas where improvements can be made in the overall layout of the warehouse.

You will support the **Shipping and Logistics Strategy**, collaborating with the management team to organize product deliveries and transportation schedules. This includes monitoring the correct flow of goods through the loading and unloading process and ensuring that products are stacked and stored efficiently.

As a part of **Inventory Management**, your role will include keeping meticulous records of incoming and outgoing stock and assisting in regular warehouse audits. You will also **Facilitate Movement** by organizing stock for dispatch and keeping transparent digital records when necessary to track the movement of goods.

In this position, maintaining compliance with **Safety Regulations** is a top priority. You'll adhere to all applicable regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure and efficient work environment. **Organization and Safety Standards** include consistently updating inventory and ensuring that work areas are clear of hazards.

Finally, you will be responsible for **Project Reports** that help management understand stock flow and operational performance. As a Forklift Operator, your attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety awareness will be crucial to the success of the facility.
