Sydneywide Hire Group is looking for a creative, technically minded and motivated Event Design & Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a varied role combining CAD drafting, event layout design, graphic design, website content, SEO and social media marketing. You’ll work closely with our sales, operations and project teams to help bring event concepts to life — from initial client layouts and site plans through to branded presentations, marketing content and online project showcases. This role would suit someone with a background in drafting, design, architecture, interiors, events, exhibitions, signage, graphic design or digital marketing who enjoys variety and wants to be part of a fast-moving events business. About Sydneywide Hire Group Sydneywide Hire Group is a leading event hire and temporary infrastructure company based in Minchinbury, NSW. We supply and install marquees, temporary structures, flooring, staging, furniture, fencing, AV, exhibition infrastructure and event equipment for a wide range of clients across Sydney and NSW, including corporate events, government events, festivals, activations, weddings, exhibitions and private functions. We are a hands-on business with a strong focus on quality, reliability, presentation and client service. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to contribute creatively while seeing their work turn into real-world event builds. About the Role As our Event Design & Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will support the business across technical drawings, client presentations, graphic design and digital marketing. One day you may be preparing a CAD layout for a major event site, and the next you may be creating branded proposal graphics, updating website content, writing SEO-friendly copy or preparing social media posts from completed projects. This is not a narrow desk role. It is a creative, practical and varied position where your work will directly support our sales team, operations team and client-facing presentations. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Design & CAD Drafting
- Prepare CAD layouts for marquees, temporary structures, staging, furniture, fencing, AV, exhibition booths and event sites
- Create clear client-facing floor plans and site layouts
- Assist with event concepts for festivals, corporate events, activations, exhibitions, weddings and custom builds
- Support the sales and operations teams with accurate drawings for quoting, planning and installation
- Update plans based on client feedback, site requirements and operational needs
- Help develop reusable layout templates, product blocks and internal drawing standards Client Presentations & Graphic Design
- Create polished visual proposals and presentation documents for clients
- Assist with branded pitch decks, capability statements, tender responses and project summaries
- Prepare event mock-ups, signage layouts, artwork concepts and basic print-ready graphics
- Support the design of marketing collateral, brochures, flyers and digital assets
- Help maintain a consistent and qualified Sydneywide Hire Group brand style Website, SEO & Digital Marketing
- Assist with website updates, service pages, product content and project case studies
- Write and edit SEO-friendly website content for event hire, marquee hire, structure hire, furniture hire, staging, exhibitions and related services
- Help improve landing pages for organic search and Google Ads campaigns
- Upload and optimise images, galleries and completed project showcases
- Support Google Business Profile updates and online content improvements Social Media & Content Creation
- Create and schedule social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Turn completed events, warehouse activity and behind-the-scenes builds into engaging content
- Write captions and short-form marketing copy
- Assist with simple photo and video editing
- Help organise project images and build a stronger library of marketing content About You You are creative, practical and detail-focused. You enjoy design, presentation and marketing, but you also understand the importance of accuracy, scale and real-world installation. You do not need to be an expert in every area, but you should be keen to learn and comfortable working across a mix of technical and creative tasks. You may come from a background in:
