About Endeavour Engineering Endeavour Engineering is a remedial engineering consultancy specialising in building diagnostic inspections and remedial waterproofing design. Our work focuses on assessing the condition of existing buildings, identifying the cause of defects, and developing practical repair solutions that address water ingress and durability issues and protect structural performance. A key part of our practice involves the preparation of technical reports for building defect matters, including matters that may proceed to dispute resolution or litigation. We regularly work alongside legal advisers, strata managers, property owners, and Owners Corporations. Our role is to provide clear, evidence-based engineering advice to support informed decision-making and long-term asset protection. The Role We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity to join our growing organisation as a Graduate Remedial Engineer on a full-time basis. Based in our Western Sydney, NSW office, you will also have the chance to work on diverse and impactful projects across Sydney, the Illawarra, the Central Coast, and regional NSW. This position is suited to a recent engineering graduate who is seeking a technically rigorous setting that encourages independent thinking and professional judgement. You will be provided with the tools, systems, and exposure necessary to develop practical remedial engineering skills through site inspections, defect investigations, reporting, and remedial design documentation, while working within a team of experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities Your day will be busy and varied, including:
- The role involves assisting experienced engineers with site inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will attend sites to observe building defects, take measurements, record photographic evidence, and assist with documenting site conditions. Some inspections may occur outside metropolitan Sydney.
- You will assist in the preparation of technical reports that describe observed defects, likely causes, and proposed remedial options. This includes contributing to reports used for general advisory purposes and, where required, for dispute or litigation matters.
- You will support the preparation of remedial design documentation by providing mark-ups, sketches, and technical input, and by working closely with our in-house drafting team to develop regulated design drawings.
- You will assist with project coordination tasks, including organising site access, liaising with contractors and specialist consultants, and maintaining clear records of inspections and correspondence.
- Under supervision, you will contribute to quality assurance processes by reviewing drawings and reports for completeness, clarity, and consistency with Endeavour Engineering standards. Qualifications & Experience
- You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a civil or structural focus, or be close to completion. Prior experience in remedial, structural, or forensic engineering is not essential but will be viewed favourably.
- Candidates must hold a completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering or be in their final year or final semester of their studies.
- Candidates must be in their final semester or have completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- This role is designed for entry level/graduate candidates seeking to develop expertise in remedial and forensic engineering.
- You should have a basic understanding of structural behaviour and an interest in building defects, waterproofing, and remedial construction. Familiarity with the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards is desirable and will be developed further in the role.
- You must have strong written communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly and logically. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a small technical team. Other Requirements:

- Fluency in English and eligibility to work in Australia.
