- Casual Complete Care Team is a highly respected company that was established in 1999. We specialise in supporting community based clients with disabilities and in particular clients with complex care needs, including people with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and spinal injuries. We focus on all aspects of our clients needs, providing a quality home based person-centred service which puts clients at the centre of the decision making and planning process to help identify and achieve their goals. Due to our client’s preferences and needs, female Filipino speaking carers are encouraged to apply for this position. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, caring, tolerant and a dedicated carer. Have exceptional verbal, written communication and listening skills with a deep understanding of person-centred care. They will have a willingness to learn, be punctual, reliable and have solid problem solving abilities. In addition, they should be able to work both independently and within a team. Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual clients. This may include however are not limited to:
- Personal care – showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Manual handling – wheelchair transfers, hoisting
- Domestic duties – housework, laundry and meal preparation
- Community access – transporting clients to shopping, doctors appointments and social activities including attending hydrotherapy Essential criteria:
- NDIS Worker Check
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Working rights in Australia
- Drivers License
- Reliable insured vehicle Preferred but not essential:
- Industry experience will be highly regarded
- An understanding of person centred disability care and Acquired Brain Injury Benefits:
- Quality ongoing training is provided and paid for
- Buddy shifts and meet and greet with clients
