We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Service Desk Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive IT team. About the Role Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, you will provide IT support to end users across the business. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT queries, helping to troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalating more complex matters when needed. - Provide IT support via phone, email, remote access or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate where required
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support day-to-day IT operations including laptops, mobiles, printers and conferencing tools
- Maintain accurate records and update the IT knowledge base
- Assist with device setup, patching and IT asset management
- Communicate clearly with users and keep them informed throughout issue resolution
- Support delivery of basic user guidance and training when needed What will you bring?
- Tertiary degree in relevant IT areas
- Previous experience in user training, or employee education is preferred.
- Knowledge of IT hardware and its configurations
- IT troubleshooting knowledge
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
