**About the Centre/Service**

Are you a passionate Early Childhood Educator who enjoys working with children in a skilled and welcoming Kindergarten? Having recently celebrated its 40th anniversary since opening, our team of teachers and educators are committed and loyal to the kinder boasting a great team environment. We are looking for a Certificate III or Diploma Educator to join our team of teachers and educators.

**Description**
- We are looking for CERTIFICATE III or DIPLOMA QUALIFIED ADDITIONAL EDUCATORS to fill various positions at our service. **Terms of Employment**:

- We require various positions including casual relief educators with availability across the week.
- An additional assistant is required on a **Wednesday from 9am-12pm** commencing as soon as possible for the duration of 12 months.
- We also seek an additional educator to support our Bush Kinder Program which runs on a Wednesday during Term 2, 3 and 4. Hours to be advised.
- Salary is per the VECA 2021 agreement (VECTEA mirror agreement), which will be paid fortnightly.
- The teaching staff are answerable to the Committee of Management.
- The teaching staff are not required to work during school or public holidays.
- All staff must hold a current Working with Children’s Check.

**Position Description**:

- Using your knowledge of the VEYLDF, you will educate and care for the children in your group.
- Assist in creating engaging and inviting play spaces.
- Ensure all children in the group are encouraged to explore and learn.
- Ensure observations of the children are documented in a positive way so that learning can be extended.
- Know the children and their needs to ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.
- Work in a team environment, taking direction as needed whilst also being able to work independently.
- Work positively and appropriately with staff, parents and committee of management.

**Qualifications**

Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

**Requirements**: WWCC

**Additional Requirements**

Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
