A3 Support is looking for a warm, motivated Sports Mentor and Disability Support Worker to join our growing team in The Ponds and surrounding Western Sydney areas. Every session you deliver, you'll be helping someone with disability build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy being active. It's one of those rare jobs where you genuinely look forward to showing up. About A3 Support A3 Support is a registered NDIS provider offering allied health and community services across Western Sydney. We're a mobile service
- meaning we come to our participants
- delivering exercise physiology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and community support in homes, schools, and community settings. We're a small, close-knit team that genuinely cares about the people we support and the staff who deliver that support. About the Role As a Sports Mentor / Support Worker, you'll be running and assisting in physical activity programs for participants with disability
- think movement, sport, games, and skill-building in a fun, person-centred workplace. You'll also support participants with independence and life skills, and may provide transport to and from sessions. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is currently studying:
- Exercise Physiology
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Pathology
- Physiotherapy
- Sport & Exercise Science
- Health Science, Nursing, or another health-related degree And lives in or around The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Schofields, Kellyville, or Blacktown. You'll be a great fit if you:
- Love working with people and bring energy and warmth to every session
- Are reliable, punctual, and take your responsibilities seriously
- Have experience in sport, coaching, or working with children or people with disability
- Hold a P2 or Full Driver's Licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Are comfortable supporting participants across a range of abilities and ages Minimum Availability Required
- 2 x weekday morning per week (approx. 9:00am – 3:00pm)
- 2 x weekday afternoons per week (approx. 2:45pm – 5:45pm)
- Saturday mornings (approx. 9am – 2pm) Career Progression Genuine career progression opportunity
