· Plan and coordinate all aspects of food preparation and cooking ensuring dishes are prepared on time and to standard.
· Selecting and training staff
· Planning and creating menus
· Calculating costs of raw materials and ingredients to fit within budget, and ensuring raw materials and ingredients are ordered on time.
· Preparing and cooking menu dishes
· Demonstrate and teach cooking techniques to new staff
· Ensure the highest quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation
· Discuss food preparation methods and menus with managers and kitchen staffs
· Ensure hygiene regulations are enforced in the kitchen at all times You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply. Skills and Qualifications:
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) Experience:
· 1 year minimum experience as a CHEF or a related field. Location
