About the Position

We are a compassionate, person-centred support organisation seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide tailored, high-quality support to individuals on the autism spectrum, helping them achieve their NDIS goals and live fulfilling, independent lives.

No two days are the same. You might be supporting a client at home, out in the community, at school, or through daily living activities — always following their lead and honouring their unique needs and communication styles.

Provide personalised support aligned with each client's NDIS plan and individual goals

Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Support clients in community participation, social skills development, and recreational activities

Implement strategies from behaviour support plans and liaise with allied health professionals

Use evidence-based, autism-informed communication approaches (AAC, PECS, social stories, etc.)

Build genuine, trusting relationships with clients and their families or carers

Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and client documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists and speech pathologists

Promote the rights, dignity, and independence of every person you support

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
