Production Officer Level 2 - North West Hub (Rouse Hill)

Production Officers are responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater treatment and resource recovery assets to meet legislative and product requirements, as well as meet customer, safety and efficiency targets.

You will be offered formal and in-house training to skill you for the role.

This position will support the North West Hub, including _Riverstone, Rouse Hill and Castle Hill facilities._
- Operate the plants in alignment with approved Production plans ensuring licence and regulatory compliance, and approved budgets
- Responsible for maintaining production availability in alignment with operational risk appetite, production and asset plans
- Take measurements from installed field instruments and execute lab testing, as required
- Perform process and equipment monitoring using SCADA
- Execute on-site process and asset checks using available systems, processes and procedures
- Perform maintenance tasks, within capability and capacity
- Support the delivery of large scale investment in new treatment technologies and get involved in their commissioning, operation and optimisation.

**Essential Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Trade qualification, degree or equivalent experience in a utilities or production environment is essential
- Experience within Water, Wastewater and / or Resource Recovery is highly advantageous
- A ‘hands-on’ approach to problem solving and trouble-shooting process equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exposure to safety, environment and quality management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict production / maintenance timeframes
- A personal drive for continuous improvement and to contribute to a positive team culture

You must be versatile to travel to other plants within the North West Hub both during normal hours and after hours as part of the stand-by roster.
