About the role

We’re seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide in-home support to our client living with a spinal injury in The Ponds. Your experience with complex client care, particularly spinal injuries, will ensure you develop, learn, and make a difference.

This role offers consistent day shift hours, giving you the chance to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a real difference in our client's everyday life. You’ll assist with personal care, bowel care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and manual handling,

Training sessions with our experienced allied health and nursing team will ensure you have the knowledge and support required to succeed.

About you

To join our team, you will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in disability

Excellent verbal communication skills

Spinal Injury experience (Bowel Care is a must
- Enema and Digital Stimulation experience is highly desired)

Manual Handling (Hoist experience)

First Aid Certificate

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working with Children's Check

Cert 3 or 4 in Disability, Aged or Community

Australian Driver's License

You’re a great communicator with a valuable sense of humor, strong attention to detail, and a focus on efficiency. You have extensive experience with bowel care and thrive working alongside an amazing team of experienced and passionate professionals.
