Qualified Metal Fabricator/Welder (Glenorie)

T Sakkal Group Pty Ltd is a family-owned Sydney-based business offering end-to-end steel solutions from design and fabrication through to rigging, transport and installation including agricultural fabrication. With over 25 years of experience, we are trusted by builders, developers and farmers for precision, reliability and quality. We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team and support our steel-fabrication and installation operations. Tasks include:
· Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
· Measure, cut, shape and assemble metal sections using fabrication tools and welding equipment.
· Carry out welding and finishing using appropriate techniques (MIG, TIG, arc, etc.).
· Perform structural repairs and modifications on plant, machinery and heavy equipment.
· Inspect completed work for accuracy, structural soundness and compliance with standards.
· Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
· Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
· Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety procedures at all times. Skills and Attributes:
· Robust knowledge of metal fabrication and welding practices.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
· Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
· Physically fit and able to work in a range of environments.
· Effective communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 year’s experience in a boiler making or welding role (essential). Relevant trade qualification in Engineering (Fabrication), Metal Fabrication or Welding (desirable but not essential). Applicant must have a drivers license and be able to drive to our location due to no public transport surrounding our location. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $140,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year Experience:
